Bathology VaporSafe 420

Just cut, shape, and glue! The VaporSafe 420 is a complete kit containing everything needed to build a water-tight 36"x48" bathing enclosure, including ceiling, up to ten feet in height. The technical advances in the VaporSafe system render gypsum or cement backer board obsolete for wet applications. Bathology's shower base and backer board panels are made from scientifically formulated CFC-free dimensionally stable extruded XPS closed-cell foam, and are reinforced with fiberglass and synthetic polymer resin mortar. The ultra light shower base, wall, and ceiling panels are 100% waterproof. Ideal for steam rooms and showers, there is no better or longer lasting protection from mold, mildew and the effects of water vapor. Laboratory tested sealant will seal joints between boards making them waterproof without the need to use any other products. No other waterproofing materials are necessary. Tradesmen benefit from ease of installation and shorter application time.

The VaporSafe 420 Room Kit includes all materials necessary to build a tile-ready bathing area. Enclosures are made with strong, lightweight foam core panels which are impermeable to water, and significantly reduce installation time and labor expense. Joints bond water-tight instantly using our modified silane (MS) polymer joint sealant and adhesive. The one-piece 4-way-sloped shower base features a fully sealed and integrated waterproof center drain. Imagine the cost savings when you can tile the room the same day that shower is constructed!

Tile Immediately
All VaporSafe shower substrates are tile-ready immediately upon assembly; there is no need to wait twenty-four hours for mud to dry. VaporSafe's liquid vapor barrier coating is the ideal surface for all sizes and shapes of tile, even intricate mosaics.

Completely Customizable
Select from an exhaustive list of available features, such as three different niches, full-width bench seat, or triangular bench seats, all constructed of the same super-rigid polystyrene foam used in the backer board panels. Your bathing environment can be further customized with fog-free mirrors, aromatherapy, water-sealed lighting, ventilation, and more!

10-Year Warranty
During normal use, the advanced foam substrate will not deteriorate. To demonstrate the durability of this system, Bathology will provide a 10-year warranty on all materials when installed as directed. This warranty is a significant added value for you and your client.
